CERAMIC DENTAL IMPLANTS

Learn what dental implants are and why you should opt for dental implant treatment.

What is a Ceramic Implant? and why chose it over metal?

A dental implant replaces the natural tooth root and serves as the foundation for a new crown. Traditionally, implants have been made from titanium, a metal.

CeraRoot® implants are different.

They are made from high-performance zirconia — a strong, white ceramic material that is completely metal-free.

Why ceramic instead of metal?

1. No corrosion

Metal implants can undergo microscopic corrosion in the oral environment over time. Zirconia is a ceramic material and does not corrode. Dental implants transmit chewing forces to the jawbone which helps to maintain a healthy jaw and therefore preserve your facial structure.

2. No metal microgaps

Conventional two-piece titanium implants have a connection between the implant and the abutment. This connection creates a microscopic gap where bacteria may accumulate. CeraRoot® is designed as a one-piece implant — without screws or microgaps — supporting healthier gum conditions.

3. Naturally white — no gray shine-through

Metal implants can sometimes create a gray shadow under thin gum tissue. Ceramic implants are white and blend more naturally with the surrounding tissues.

4. Metal-free solution

For patients who prefer to avoid metals — or who are concerned about sensitivities — zirconia offers a bioinert, non-metal alternative.

5. Biological respect

CeraRoot® follows a one-piece design concept that respects the natural architecture of the gum and bone, helping maintain long-term tissue health.
